After a long time --A brilliant comedy

I have to confess I am not a huge Martin Short fan. But when he
puts on the fat suit and becomes Jimminy Glick, he is brilliant.
Just brilliant.

Ofcourse, you have to be a little mature to get the humour. Not
everybody will get all the popular culture references, that are
casually slipped in. People, and I use the term loosely, who are
Jackass fans for example, may not 'dig' this. Nor should they.

It had been awhile, actually too long, since I saw an intelligent,
sardonic, witty comedy like this. I hope Glick will have more
outings and the director, Mr. Vadim gets a well-deserved pat-on-
the-back from all of us, for a job well-done.

I saw it at the Angelika Film Center in NYC last May, I think. OK movie. I like the character alot, and Short was great as both Glick and Lynch, but some of the jokes fell flat. I'd recommend it to certain people, though.

How is it possible that this movie is only a 5.5 on IMDb? I couldn't stop laughing for two hours (that means I was still laughing for a half-hour, even after it was over!)
