Worst Bollywood Films Ever

Just curious, from the mixed opinions of Kal Ho Na Ho, what people think are the worst bollywood films ever.

For me (to name a few of many that come to mind, and in no particular order):

Kuch To Hai
What the hell was this supposed to be?

Krishna Cottage
Again from Ekta Kappor, another piece of rubbish which again tried to copy Hollywood films (The RIng, after Kuch to Hai copied I know WHat You Did Last SUmmer and Scream). For those of you who haven't seen it, you are better off spending your money wiping your backside than paying to watch this piece of crap.

Boom
This didn't go beyond being a porn film at any time.

Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega
Unoriginal, poorly acted, amateurly executed. Generally just plain bad, and Salman Khan is little more than irritating in this film.

LOC Kargil
Although I liked the idea behind it, they really had no clue what audiences wanted in a film. COnsidering it was a JP Dutta film, it was quite a shock.It was a documentary and nothing more really, and after more than 4 hours of shouting, gunfire, explosions, and unnecessary songs, my head was pretty much ready to burst.

Yaadein
There are more holes in this film than there are stars in the universe.

Gaj Gamini
Made no sense whatsoever. More like one of MF Husssain's paintings than a film. Same goes for Meenaxi, although the latter was beautifully shot and Tabu looks absolutely gorgeous in it.

Kya Dil Ne Kaha
The less said the better.

Jaani Dushman
Trying to copy scenes from god knows how many films, which was poorly done, especially the special effects. There were no good performances whatsoever, the rape scene was poorly and insensitively done and they had SOnu Nigam as one of the main actors. That last statement is enough in itself for this film to belong on this list.

Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon
One of the most unoriginal, boring, uninspired peices of work to come out of Bollywood -ever. It follows the exact same track as the milliona of love triangles to have come out before. Its made all the worse by the fact that it was Rajshri productions.

i personally loved kal ho na ho,,,my favourite movie right before k3g, and i hate almost all the movies kareena and hrithik made except for koi mil gaya and k3g i hate kareena and hrithik though, i love sharukh khan soo much

Worst Bollywood films in my opinion:

Jaani Dushman - absolute trash, despite copying many English films, the story went absolutely nowhere

Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon - I can't even begin to describe how horrible this was...

Ssssssshhhhhh (however many S's and H's there are...) - this was a rip off of all the teeny bopper hollywood horror movies, which are no good to begin with

Now how about best bollywood films:

1. Dil Chahta Hai - without a doubt, the best movie i've ever seen. Aamir Khan is an incredible actor, Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, and Akshaye Khanna were good too and the songs were great.

2. Lagaan - nothing but fun, i've seen this movie so many times i have lost count

Most over rated actor:

Shahrukh Khan without a doubt, all he does is cry and stutter in every movie... quite disappointing

for worst bollywood films...hmm i'd have to think...have seen soooooo many but by faaaaar i can say ha mpkdh is.....ver so-so...i mean...here was humour...but it was cheesy,....and it was so like....i dunno...it didnt math today's comptetion like u know how oday u have all the kmG and kal ho naaa ho and all the original stories...ur right it was very unoriginal...anyways...thats what i think..

I probably wouldn't agree on most overrated actor, but your 2 favourite films match mine.

most overrated actor for me was Hrithik before koi mil gaya, but now probably salman khan. Apart from tere naam, where he did about ok - it was probably his best performance of his career, he hasnt even been remotely convincing in anything else.

My Opinoion:
i)Run-------God! Why do they make such movies? Boy meets Girl. Some singing and dancing. Girl's brother creates hell for them. The Boy fights and gets the love of his life. ( Despite that, I think Abhishek and Bhumika make a cute pair)
OTHERS IN THIS CATEGORY: Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Aap Mujhe Acche Lagne Lage, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, MPKDH, Uff..Mohabbat Hai. etc.

ii)Any other film in which Abhishek has come from Allahabad (Eg- Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya)

iii)Janasheen----- I can't elaborate this one
OTHERS IN THIS CATEGORY: Prem Aggan

iv) Love Stories with Murder/Ghosts: Like Kuch to Hai, Muskaan, Love In Nepal

V)Govinda's cheap comedies--------- Ah they are pathetic. Like Akhiyon Se Goli Mare and Waah Tera kya Kehna. I don't know why Raveena does movies with him when She has the potential to do powerful roles she did in Daman etc.
OTHERS IN THIS CATEGORY: Do I have to tell?

vi)Suryavansham------It starred Amitabh. If you don't remember it I don't blame You. If u are making any plans to see it (thats if U have gone lunatic) then I have given U due warnings.
OTHERS IN THIS CATEGORY: Laal Baadshah, Duplicate, Baadshah, Asoka

Here are my personal FAVOURITES---------------
i) Hera Pheri- The desi comedy gives u tummy-aches. Paresh Rawal Rocks
ii)Rules-Pyar Ka Superhit Formula- The innocence of the Girl, the hot looks of Milind Soman, all combined with the wisdom of Dadi
iii) Dil Vil Pyar Vyar- All the 8 actors/actresses were damn good and what to say about the music
iv)Munna Bhai MBBS- Even Hollywod can not make a movie like this one
v) Main Hoon Na- Word are not enough
Apart from these the usual Bollywood Blockbusters

NOTE TO ABHNINAV---Don't say anything about my Salman. Just see Saajan, Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, he even beats Srk in these lover-boy roles

The 3 films of Salman you mentioned were all over 10 years ago. And he wasn't particularly masterful in any of them, IN MY OPINION. sorry.

Koi Mil Gaya: What in the world!?

Qayamat: The little respect Ajay Devgan earned from Company from me, he lost it all here.

Khushi: I am ashamed to admit I saw this crap...

LOC Kargil: Zzzzzzzzzzz, unentertaining, and surprisingly from a big cast, no good performances.

They all came out the same year.

I dont like movies with hrithik in them at all. i luv SRK tho! Kal Ho Naa Ho is prolly one of my favorite bollywood movies..

Some of the worsts of this century i can think of.

1.Koi Mil Gaya ... the worst ... the only good thing about this film is Hrithik's acting but even here he over-acted a bit. I laughed my heart out while watching this ... i mean were they trying to copy ET? ... Rakesh Roshan needs some therapy ... seriously.

2.Main Hoon Na ... what kinda crap is this huh? ... Usual SRK movie ... with miss farah khan ... hello lady ... go back to choreography... direction is not your thing ... as if chorography was ... but even then this movie was utter trash ... and why are people saying that Zayed Khan can act after watching this one .. are you guys crazy or what? .. This took 2 years to write ... come on ... i could write this in 3-4 hours straight. Indian audience my ass

3.Chalte Chalte ... same old screenplay ... mr. srk trying to make money again .. one of the worst of bollywood ... period.

4.Aap Mujhe Acche Lagne Lagge , Main Prem Ki deewani Hoon: What shall i say ... umm yess ... Rajshri should change their name to Hum same type ki movies ke deewane hain ... Horse *beep*

5.Masti ... oh god ... god oh god ... please save bollywood ... This was a hit i think ... In what way may i ask? ... Comedy??? ... torture is more like it.

Bollywood movies which are good but never got the recognition they deserved ... got it in US or UK though
(where most good movies get recognition):

1.Legend of Bhagat Singh ... this patriotic film was one of a kind ... a good screenplay ... great acting and direction .. and cool cinematography .. the score was also suitable for the movie ... greatest of inidan cinema.

2.Asoka : well this is the only SRK movie which was (apart from devdas) which was ... shall i say sensible ... i think this one shoulda been sent for the Oscars and believe me ... it would have won ... just cut the songs ... voila, a masterpiece.

3.3 Deewarein,Lagaan ***, Lakshya: 3 Deewarein was pure genius. Tremendous cast and shall i say actors in the real sense with Mr Nagesh Kukunoor.

Aamir khan is undoubtedly one of the best ... im glad he is working on the Rising ... Though Lagaan was a great movie .. it did get very bollywoodish in the middle and was dragged from then on ... but overall a masterpiece.

Lakshya was the best war film India has (after Haqeeqat maybe) ... no bakwaas ... no time waste ... pure genius... This is again a patriotic picture with some minor flaws.Border and LoC were not war films.

4. Devdas***, Pinjar: well devdas was a fine pice of work but i think Leela Bhansali is not a very good director. Yes he can pull off some very good movies but he needs to work on them a bit. Well this was one movie whose songs very not very unwanted like Asoka, Legend, Pinjar or Lagaan for that matter.
Pinjar was another great pice of art which never got recognised. Mr Dwivedi (the director) did the best job of the year .. the cinmeatography was also the best of that year. Unwanted songs again but great cinema. Genius.

Hon'ble mentions: Dil Chahta Hai*** (the reason why i liked this was the musical score ,the acting and the direction)... Zubeida (Karsima with her career defining role, taut script), ... Ab Tak Chhappan (Nana Patekar ... the finest actor of indian cinema), ... Mission Kashmir (good)and ... Samay (after watching this i knew that miss Sushmita Sen is one of the best actresses of bollywood)(She was marvellous)... Fiza (karisma's second best) ... and Jogger's Park (Good piece of Film-making ... did anyone notice that even Lost in Translation came out with the same story(sort of) in the same year ... LIT was better though)

the most overrated bollywood films ever made are k3g, kuch kuch hota hai and mohabbatein.i think shahrukh is very overrated.he acted well in baazigar and darr but people have nowadays made him tom cruise . even hrithik is overrated but he acted well in only koi mil gaya.my favourite bollywood movies will be dil chahta hai, lagaan and masoom(the old one starring shabana azmi)

I strongly agree with rakasen. I think SRK sucks big time. The most overrated actor, an absolute show off and THE GOD in all his movies, be it K3G, KKHH, KHNH MHN to VeerZaara, which by the way i just watched yesterday. The movie sucked becoz of the the same old third class over dramatic dialogues.
He cannot act for peanuts.
And yes rakasen my fav movies are also the ones u mentioned

listen to this man if u think srk sucks big time...have u watched his earlier movies? Darr and baziigar where he plays the vilain. a gangster in ramjaane n dude he excelled there.
so think again before u say tht he sucks. he is better than most the of actors u find at bollywood. this guy is going to b a legend. watch for swades
