Language used when discussing east Asians

Hi,

Have searched online and can't seem to find any answers, but am intrigued and wondering if anyone could help! On two occasions in the film, when the characters are discussing the east Asian restaurant owners across the road (at first it was Sweetu's sister, then later on Aman I think) the language they used was censored with bleeping, and nothing came up on the subtitles in the version I watched. Was hoping someone could tell me what was said! And why it was censored, the only reason that springs to mind is that it was something perhaps racist towards Chinese/east Asians or something deemed offensive outside India (but hoping I'm wrong!).

Would like to find out, as found it puzzling!

Re-watching it and they call them idiots mostly Not very cordial!

I just watched it this morning - the two things I clearly remember are

1) some slight mocking of the Chinese language (stereotypical 'ching chong' stuff)

2) a minute after SRK generalizes east Asians (something like "Chinese/Japanese/Koreans, whatever") implying they're similar

I was actually upset about these two occurrences, and I'm not east Asian. Basically it was, like many Indian movies, a setup for a scene developing Indian patriotism. But it's not right that they do this; Indians migrate to countries all over the world. Hell, in the movie they're all living in New York, so more tolerance is expected of them. It was an immature scene.
