That photo or any other photo isn't going to change anything except confirm that the disgusting whitewash with this movie is a reality.

Haircolour implies it's still made with the original movie as base (blue instead of purple, but cast includes laughing man). Though looking at that picture of Scarlett that can be found in the original movie.
This could just be a partial smokescreen to keep audience guessing until trailers/reveal comes along.
It could also be to many cooks, which I hope is not the case.
There is alot quite well known actors allready involved - which draw connotations, that will detract from the storyline.
The crew-base in New Zealand
Which means the early information about shooting locations in China are secondary locations (or none at all) and implies that the movie will be heavy on CGI.

That lies perfect in time regarding the offical newspump of terrorism the last decade and a half but i doubt it.

I somehow got redirected here from "Ghost in the Shell 2017" where I've had this really long post about how you should make the movie if it was based on the original movie - ill post a copy here as it has got deleted once before the movie was properly announced and now again by admins for what reason I got no clue. Neither did i get a message or reason, the first time i figured maybe the producers had borrowed something (at that point it was being actively updated).
It's a long post so I'll repost it in the Ghost in the Shell 2017 forum and edit in a link here.

I simply do not know you or share the same level of personal information with people online (I never used to share much information and that has simply lessened - within the context that some surveillence will always be there and is next to unavoidable unless you manipulate your own digital patterns, which can be seen as a crude and advanced way to conserve freedom for us all).
Paranoia asserts that there is no cause behind the concern which leak after reliable leak has exposed that there is. The leaks around the modern totalitarian surveillance started in the 70's, what Snowjob came to expose was formerly known as Echelon (or EchelonV) and a "tinfoil hat" conspiracy even though former CIA agents et al spoke out about it. You will have to educate yourself on these matters if you want to, there is plenty to go around - just be skeptical as there is alot of missinformation floating around (throughout the spectrum), information is best served fresh.
Be aware of that anything you have on a computer post Vista SP0 (someone technically skilled would probably correct me and say that Windows has not been safe since DSL came along), everything you type on your computer at home (asuming you don't have a proper background in coding and run Linux and your own Firmware on your router) is being collected and stored in huge datacenters.
1984 has been here since a good while, the difference today is that the information that it is, is easily accesible around the nets.
Don't let Apple supposedly denying FBI fool you one bit, that is simple grandstanding without any real impact as backdoors are plenty in the vast majority of larger software companies (stated as opinion for legal reasons - verify for yourself). It a simple way to put forth the notion that somehow the large multinational companies now are working for the little guy, smaller brands are your best bet for safety though viable technology have a tendency to be limited quite rapidly (as the phones produced by an "unknown" brand in Sweden with safe encryption that was sold for a while).

I have to disagree, it is in no way deep. Most online realise that we are living in 1984 now and they are probable to adjust accordingly.
Information collected by these illegal informal interest groups and agencies have been used and there has been signs (like CIA leaks) that it has been used up to OPUS status (that means no formal figure is safe from extortion).
I've allready exposed that I'm located in Sweden and those who do want to know where I am, allready know so - I'm assured of that.
Regarding on what I do on my sparetime there is only so many ways to surveil someone, the easiest way to elude those collecting information (as you might be or might not be - for the sake of the arguement) is to give a viable alibi. There are programs that act on randomised (more or less) sites online to mix up the data for the ISP's and those who got access to it. If you are on a computer that acts as a trojan you basically have no use for those, more than superficially.

Your data (all information) is being collected illegally. That is being done irregardless if you personally find me paranoid or not.
To exclude yourself from paranoia was not meant as if you use lowtech you don't need to be paranoid thinking about this, but as; if you use lowtech you will be safer than you are right now versus entities that will stack the odds against you if you act out of their interest with current technology.
