Cuba-DR

Isn't it a little ironic that they filmed in Cuba, Havana doubling as Santo Domingo, when in most cases in American cinema, almost 90% of Films set in Cuba are filmed in the Dominican Republic with Santo Domingo doubling as Havana.

Just thought it was odd. Have to admit, it was a good movie, I thought it was a great choice to film in Cuba, being that Cuba looks like DR in the 50's and Cubans are very similar to Dominicans (demographically speaking). Though they could of put more effort into it, both the actors and director. At times the accent was off, and their were moments where I felt like I was seeing a day in the life of a "Cuban" The film did have the potential to be a whole lot better (in the sense of making it feel more "Dominican" despite using Cuban actors)
