P.T. Anderson

In the film Kevin Smith alludes to insulting P.T. Anderson and his movie Magnolia. I was just wondering if anyone knew where this article could be found. Thanks.

I was wondering too. I was surprised it's no where to be found in his book, "Silent Bob Speaks."

You can find it here: http://home.cwru.edu/~bcl3/

Is that it though? I thought he wrote a whole review on the film.

From what I understand the remarks that can be read on the page I mentioned are the only remarks K. Smith ever made on Magnolia. The whole situation is a bit overblown to put it mildly.

The exact quote was: [on Magnolia] "I'll never watch it again, but I will keep it. I'll keep it right on my desk, as a constant reminder that a bloated sense of self-importance is the most unattractive quality in a person or their work."

I doubt PTA was even aware of the comments. I doubt he would of cared, I think PTA is aware his films are polarizing and that some people really hate them.
