What was with the Zombie????

I was flippin through channels oneday and it was on Sci-Fi, and as usual i see a crappy movie i tend to watch it for a lil bit just for laughs. There was this scene ONE lone scene where everyone was in the cabin and this zombie comes walking up through the door and this guy gives this really funny round house kick to him AND THATS IT!! NO MORE ZOMBIE and no more mention of the zombie through out the whole movie NOT A WORD!! I actually finished the movie just so I could find out what the deal with the zombie was and nothing. I'm really confused.

The "zombie" was one of the people in the research complex. He accidentally got some of the giant Komodo venom on him, which made him really sick and turned him into a murderous "zombie". The other survivors had to kill him to save themselves, so I guess in this case the roundhouse kick to the head did the trick. Hopefully you can see it again sometime from the very beginning, it makes a lot more sense. (they show this on Sci-Fi channel from time to time, just so you know.)
