Chidren of Castor=Children of the Stones?

Hi, I watched this a couple times (in the US) and like it a lot. I've just heard about Children of the Stone. Am I right in guessing that C O Castor is meant to be a parody of C O T Stones? Is the phrase "I'm Changing" a wink wink reference to "The Changes"?

It's hard for a non-brit who didn't grow up with these tv show to get all the in-jokes and references.
