Release onto Region 1....PLEASE!!!

Hey BBC, will you ever release this dvd onto Region 1 for North American viewers? I live in Canada and am fortunate to have a multi-region dvd player AND a PAL compatable tv, which allows me to watch my PAL format dvd's from Britain. I just wish my I could lend it to friends so they could enjoy it as I have. BBC replied to me that they have no future plans for a North American release :-(

I pointed out the popularity that Little Britain is receiving on this side of the pond, as some cast members of LB are seen in Cruise...but I guess in their infinite wisdom, they just don't see the connection.

Couldnt you copy it onto your pc and burn it on to a dvd as an NTSC version. Most burning packages can change the region. just a suggestion. I cant see it being released on region one dvd its only been shown once on british tv and and its not that well know over here.

I was just reminded of this film and went looking for it ... I'm gutted that it's not available in North American format, especially since it was on BBC Canada that I saw it a few years ago. Surely in addition to Little Britain, the success of 'Tristram Shandy' ought to provide some incentive for more American exposure to Brydon and Coogan? I see that the Alan Partridge TV shows are available on Region 1 ...
