Adoptees' Personal Searches for Family

I am wondering how many adoptees can relate to this film in their own searches for their bio families? I got this film last year but did not watch it till this and had forgotten that I had it. My own search went on all my life but it wasn't till 3 1/2 years ago I hit the jackpot and found my family. All my adopted family was gone by then and my bio mother had died in a car accident when she was 25, 7 months pregnant with her 4th (I was the first), and only 2 peole know who that baby's father was. One forgot and the other, my uncle, her brother, won't say.I was adopted right out of the hospital and my brother and sister when she died. They were 15 months and 4 years old. I was able to find my father 5 weeks before he passed on. I also have siblings on his side along with an aunt, cousins, and the whole family make-up. I was lucky enough to be welcomed into both sides and had been searched for. I am 58 now with 3 kids and 4 grands of my own and they are happy to know their blood relatives as my bio family basically turned their backs on my when my adoptive mother passed on. Our family is international amd All-American.This move had me crying at the end. He made his grandfather happy by showing up as I made my father happy when I showed up before he passed on. But why weren't they standing together at the final scene before Jack introduces Meg to his grandfather?
