I really really really really really really want to see this film! I know it was never realed in the US (maybe nowhere outside of Brazil?), but does anyone know if it was released on DVD in Brazil? From what i gather it was a pretty big hit there.

No, it wasn't a hit at all. Most brazilian films earn very few money here.
And no, it still hasn't been released on DVD. In fact ... there's even a chance that it never is.
(Brazil is a third world country, and third world sucks.)
