Comment about one of the fights *Spoilers*

Does anyone else agree that the fight with Bone against Price near the end should have been a few minutes longer. I mean I thought the fight was pretty good overall, but it became way too one sided after the two minute mark. Than right after that it turned too Steven Seagalish where Bone is never touched again. Pissed me off how the director/studio went that route with the fight instead of having the fight be 6-7mins or so.

But throgh the movie it was always shown that Michael Jai was reading oponents weaknesses/style. And then defeated them.
Price was good, but one-sided fighter. And that was his doom.

And remember that MJW didnt want to fight, so he desided how long the fight would be. :)

But yeah, it was short. :(

Yeah, I suppose but do they expect us to believe a fighter where in the movie they say he's supposed to be the best in the world or one of the very best to lose to someone like he did. I know it's just a movie but still I didn't expect them to make it one sided for half of it.

I agree with the OP, I get that Bone was supposed to be a freakin' ass kicking machine, but at the same time I'd like to have seen him be even remotely challanged just once.
Waited bloody months to watch this and I actually end up preferring Undisputed 2 :/
Ahh well, Black Dynamite soon. (I know, I know it's totally different, but it still looks pretty awesome)

I don't agree. I mean, sure - I'd like the fight to have lasted longer just for fun, but this was very much in line with the character.

Throughout the movie his fighting skills has been superior, and the end fight was no difference.

Personally I am bored with all these cliché fight movies where they pretty much follow a formulae. Fight starts, and we realize they can both fight. Hero gets in a few good punches, but ALMOST gets his ass kicked before he find some hidden-away energy source and mauls the opponent.
Bah!

No, this character was a mean motherf*. Even their champion was no match for him - not really.

And as long as not every movie out there does this, then I accept it. Hell - I applaude it.

i agree with henryvol here,
i really enjoyed the fact that the main character stayed calm in the last fight and just dominated his ass!
loved it how the other guy got his smile punched from his face!
this movie really had amazing fighting moves that made me want to watch the movie all over again as soon as the credits rolled

Henryvoll you pretty much summed it up perfectly.

Also this fight was never intended to be the 'epic final battle' like any of the Rocky films, it was always about Bone taking revenge for his friend - Price was just another obstacle in his way.

Pretty Boy Price did something almost no one else in this movie did. He actually HIT Bone, and it didn't seem all that one sided to me.
