One of the best fight movies ever

Many guys say this is one of the best "black" fight movies. I have to tell you, I'm white and to me it's still one of the best fight movies ever! M.J.White is the real deal! He really knows what he is doing and I think there should be more fight movies like that!

Thanx for listening, I'm here till tuesday! Tipp the waitresses! (charly harper)

Fighting was rubbish, the fight scenes where not very good, and there was not many of them, and on top of that the movie make no sense, like how a guy that seem to be average at best in a street fight at first manage to defeat a trained champion, and dosen't train at all during the whole movie. I mean the first guy he face kick his ass, until he get knocked off in an unlucky way, but then Channing Tatum character become the strongest of the fighters...lol

Here we get very good fight, lots of blood(not that i get excited by blood, but its realistic in these type of fights) and we see from the beginning that Bone kick ass... he dosen't need training from the start.

As for blood, its just that i think when there is no blood, it miss something. For exemple the movie Dead or Alive, yeah i know its based on the video game that feature no blood, but some fights are excellent in the movie(Tina vs Zack for exemple) but the lack of blood make it feel not real at all.

Mortal Kombat is a bloody video game, and the only blood of the movie is a little drop from Shang Tsung mouth at the end....lol

First off, the top 10 fight movies on my list star Jackie Chan. I hate that crappy 90s American Action style that is so slow and stationary. Few American style films rise above that steven segall crap, and this is the first film I've seen do that since The Rock's "The Rundown".

The only problem I have with it is the superman aspect of Bone. To me, Superman is incredibly boring because nothing hurts him. Spider-Man, on the other hand, is constantly being beat up in his fights. If the main character is invincible, then that's no fun. It's more entertaining to watch an even fight.

James (Eamonn Walker) is more realistic... he haves a power and jet he doesnt.. like in real life...

That disqualifies you immediatley as Jackie Chan has absolutely no real MA knowledge or skill. All he is is a good stuntman and choreographer.

have you seen city of violence? there are tons of crazy and well-shot fight scenes in that movie

Certainly one of the best in many years. MJW made it look natural, real, and believable. The only problem as another poster stated, he was too invincible.

I hope MJW makes a sequel or more like this. Definitely, he is star material.

I disagree with some of you guys, I felt that it was great that he was pretty much untouchable. I've seen too many movies where the hero just gets beat down throughout it, and then miraculously pulls off some 'wtf' sh*t at the end which then secures his victory. I'd rather see a protagonist who just utterly destroys his opponents simply because while watching I'm thinking to myself, 'Ok...how is he gonna pull it off this time without getting touched?!' That's just me personally =). Great movie though, loved it and plan on watching Black Dynamite tonight!

I agree. I loved how badass Michael Jai White was throughout the entire movie. Completely, 100% invincible. It was great.

I'm a die hard action junkie and this is definitely one of the best movies i have ever seen. Michael Jai White is an animal. He knows how to brawl and kick some serious a$$. I watched this with my girlfriend and she loved it too. Awesome movie!

if you enjoyed this then watch Undisputed 2. hes just as good in that. then watch Undisputed 3 which is even better. scott adkins, while no great actor, is one hell of a martial artist. id rate micheal jai white and scott adkins as two of the best current (western) movie fighters around.

I have watched tons of martial arts movies over the years and a lot of the fight scenes look scripted. You know where two guys are fighting and the rest of the bad guys are dancing around them. The fight scenes in this movie look very real. Actually the first fight scene in the beginning blew me away. I had to watch it three times.
