how come Batman's costume isn't updated as it was for Justice League? or does this film pre-date Justice League even though it was airing at the same time? also, why would they replace the Robin voice actor? The reason was because they wanted his voice to age when compared to the animated series, but wouldn't the original voice actors voice have aged sufficiently?

I'm fairly certain this movie takes place before Justice League. The way it seemed to me was that the Batman animated features seemed to all take place before Justice League or Justice League Unlimited.

Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman
Justice League
Justice League Unlimited
Batman Beyond
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
And then Teen Titans and Static Shock were occurring sometime during the events of JL or JLU, I was never sure.
Can't be too careful with all those weirdos running around.
