The Obvious Bond References

Holy crap, there were a lot of them, weren't there? The Bambi and Thumper henchwomen in the Iceberg Lounge, the cheesy lines (for an animated Batman movie, anyway), the ridiculous high-tech gadgetry (mainly that metal restraint thing), the slapstick and other comedic elements, the violence felt Bond-ish and silly, the over-the-top bombs, the way the villains seemed to act and operate, and Kathy Duquesne looks like an animated version of Halle Berry from Die Another Day. Even the plot felt like a 90's Bond plot without the sex and Bob Kane's characters.

Anybody else notice? You'd swear the writers went on a Bond marathon while they were scripting this movie.

Yeah, that one was definitely the most painful in its obviousness. Enjoyed the fight, though.
