Who is the guy Daryl Hannah is crying about when she phones John at the beginning of this movie???...I'm from the UK & I'm not very up on Daryl's private/love life.

They mentioned the name "Jackson" and I googled it and got Jackson Brown, the singer. The stories I read said that she never filed charges and that his friends don't believe it happened plus no other woman had ever or has ever since made an accusations of the like. So take it for what you will. Perhaps it was a ploy to get John-John to rescue her...and it worked, now didn't it?
