What happened?

Does anyone know why it is being taken off the air? Was it Jesse's decision or Discovery or someone elses? I just don't know whether to be mad at Disovery, or happy for Jesse or what!

They ran out of good ideas and Jesse didn't want to keep doing stupid crap. They should have stopped after season 2.

Jesse James couldn't even be bothered to appear in the final episode. I'd love to know the story behind that. I'm guessing he was too busy helping Sandra Bullock pick out a dress for the Oscars.

It says in the Wiki of MG that he did take part in it.

Jesse announced last year, this was his last Season. He was not in the FINALE, because he filmed one outside of Monster Garage. The series Finale was for Monster Garage, which Im guessing isn't going to get a new host. Jesse's finale was a special that aired last Month. IRAQ CONFIDENTIAL with JESSE JAMES, airs this month on the Military channel & July 3rd on Discovery...

Hey man, the guy is busy working at his OWN shop, i don;t blame him for not being there. it took time from his real job. hell i didnt show up to the dinner at my last job the night before the contract was up, i pretty much hated all but 3 or 4 people from that crew. so i don't blame him for not showing up.

I WAS IN THE POOL, I WAS IN THE POOL

From his real job? I know he owns a succesful chopper shop, but he wasn't doing Monster Garage for free. The problem was that it seemed they pretty much wanted him to just sit around and watch the teams work, occasionally getting in and getting his hands dirty. The builds he seemed to like the most in later seasons were the ones where he actually got in and did a lot of work. It more like he had stuff he could be doing at West Coast Chopper for customers rather than just sitting around, but when he wasn't just sitting around he could make time for this. Both were real jobs for him, but one actually meant physically working more often than the other which was mostly hosting and babysitting duty.

I met him when i went to long beach to go on a cruise

What I read is that Jesse wanted Monster Garage to go to Iraq but they refused. So Jesse hired his own film crew and produced it himself. Now he's moved on to his new show "Jesse James is a Dead Man" which is basically Jesse doing some stunt type challenges each show. Not as good as Monster Garage.
