Not all that bad

as im from the UK i watched this movie on Sky one night as it sounded kind of cool by what it said in the preview. Throughout the film i didnt seem disappointed at all, the plot twists were good and kept you guessing. I love movies that haven't had to much money on them as the BIG BUDGET movies have a huge tendancy to be rubbish. Not always the case but the simple movies are more entertaining.

I thought it was pretty good as well.

This is my signature. AREN'T YOU EXCITED?!

I found this movie not to bad..in fact I though it was alot better then most of the silly sci fi movies that are made in a hurry..very creepy ..Havent seen it for along time on sci fi..Whats up,why arent they replaying it??here in USA??Eastern time..I wonder..

It could have done with a bigger budget and I could see the ending coming a mile away, but I quite liked it. Good to see Richard Grieco putting out some good movies again.

"Bangkok, Taiwan, Tokyo. Hey, what's the difference? I'm kickin' ass wherever I go!"

reply

Oh please. This was absolute *beep* Utterly ridiculous movie, waste of two perfectly good hours of my life.
Plot twists? Where?
I agree that many big budgetters can be equally *beep* but that doesn't alter that this was dire.

If you think this is bad I hate to tell you Cemetery Gates is worse.

Webs plot is at least enjoyable but Cemetery Gates is about a mutated Tasmanian Devil that kills people.
Being an Aussie I found it quite ridiculous.

Before you knock Webs...watch Cemetery Gates or Komodo vs Cobra.
Those 2 are HORRIBLE Sci Fi movies.

I have my own opinions...shock...horror

Any cheesy Sci-Fi movie with Richard Grieco in it I gotta watch. I certainly wouldnt rate it high

4/10

It's 4 o'clock on a Wed. morning and 'Webs' is on . WEBS !!!

its actually on dvd now

Webs! It's on Chiller right now for some reason at about 8 am...got me wondering why the hell Mr Grieco never could get a real career going. At least of a cult Mickey Rourke status. He had the looks and attitude all these years. Only would have taken a few kickass cold murderous roles.. Poor career management I guess.

Totally agree, got to love a B grade movie, watched it late late at night on pay TV and was just what I expected. Very reminiscent of Sliders. Some are way to harsh towards B grade flicks but B&W 50’s will always rule.

You pretty much described the very essence, of how, sometimes, less pretentious movies with moderate budget tends to have decent atmosphere and even win some fans as result,

Zombies, and general post apocalyptic creatures I loathe by default. When I read those in description, I avoid it like a plague. But, like others with similar taste, who are weak to time paradox, and generally speaking, hint of a time travel as foundation theme, makes me endure it, just for sake of it.

Beginning, although neither visually or acting wise defining, somehow made me stay interested. If they could upgrade the main motive to something more intelligent then meaningless monsters, and challenge more intellectual prospect as time obstacle, or something more creative developed as the premise, Webs would make decent TV series.
