You pretty much described the very essence, of how, sometimes, less pretentious movies with moderate budget tends to have decent atmosphere and even win some fans as result,
Zombies, and general post apocalyptic creatures I loathe by default. When I read those in description, I avoid it like a plague. But, like others with similar taste, who are weak to time paradox, and generally speaking, hint of a time travel as foundation theme, makes me endure it, just for sake of it.
Beginning, although neither visually or acting wise defining, somehow made me stay interested. If they could upgrade the main motive to something more intelligent then meaningless monsters, and challenge more intellectual prospect as time obstacle, or something more creative developed as the premise, Webs would make decent TV series.

as im from the UK i watched this movie on Sky one night as it sounded kind of cool by what it said in the preview. Throughout the film i didnt seem disappointed at all, the plot twists were good and kept you guessing. I love movies that haven't had to much money on them as the BIG BUDGET movies have a huge tendancy to be rubbish. Not always the case but the simple movies are more entertaining.
