*spoilers* what can they be?

Aside from what is suggested.

What do we think they could be?
Its facinating to see as human beings how much we dont know and it seems very strange that NASA and governments are not interested if trying to explain what these things are.
(thats if they dont already know *wink wink*)

My theories are as follows:

1) possible space debrie/junk or space rock
It has been noted that thousands of pieces of space junk is orbitng earth and regulary falls/burns up upon entering the atmosphere.
Noted in the film when we see objects changing course this may be due to colliding objects/junk, the change in course may also be attributed to the pull of the earth and or magnetic attraction to metal fragments.
**please note im no scientiest**

2) Governmental conspiracies to restrict the possible idea of other forms or life which would create global Kaos in both political and religious communities,
Such a thing as life outside earth being confirmed would throw a spanner into religion as well as upraw upon the governments for withholding information, if such knowledge has been withheld to begin with.

3) its hoax, religion is right. (this seems the most unlikely)

4) Governmental misdirections, as the best magicians do, focus the audience on one area and they ignore whats in front of them.

5) aliens?... arent they already here?
