Question for those who've seen it (spoilers)...

The official website for this movie has a blurb that reads "when a desperate young woman witnesses an act of virtue beyond her imagination, her life is changed forever."

Maybe I missed something on my first viewing, but I don't remember her actually witnessing the act of virtue. As I remember it, she was at the back of the train and like everybody else, didn't see what happened. She just pulled up and saw him weeping and mourning...

I already understand the whole 'religious symbolism' aspect of this part of the movie, but in terms of what actually happened, what is she supposed to have seen?

Also, is there any significance (religious or otherwise) to the minor characters? The woman he invites to have coffee with him? The man shouting up to the girl in the window? The American with the girl who is too pretty for him?

I took it that she saw his despair and grief. She had seen the father with the son at different scenes earlier in the film.
I think the minor characters reflect the various lifestyles of everyday people. The father, in saving the train was allowing all these people to live their lives with its intricacies

Well, that's it - she SAW it. If the train represents life, people in the train represent everyday people unaware of the fact that God saved us and sacrificed his son instead, she was the only one that saw it. She didn't see it directly, but she saw that something was going on...

SPOILER ALERT!!!!

Well I think that last part is totally to be taken out.

Under last part I guess ya'll know what I mean: part that shows, that this junkie got a kid and everything is fantastic and bla bla bla... it just ruined this incredible short film
