Is the R1 DVD anamorphic?

I just watched this via on Demand. And it was in full screen. Then i went to go buy the DVD on www.deepdiscountdvd.com and they said that the dvd was in full frame.

So is the DVD in widescreen or not?

I rented the movie (R1 DVD) from NetFlix and yes, it was anamorphic... there are some extras like interviews, artwork, and trailer....
