Christopher Doyle - Rampant Egomaniac?

What's up with CD on this commentary? He only mentions Pen Ek by name a scant two or three times through the whole thing. He seemingly takes credit for just about every single visual cue in the entire flick! By about 40 minutes in, I was seriously peeved at his lack of deference to his director. I'll give Doyle credit for some lighting, colors, and sets . . . but the genius of this movie belongs with Pen Ek and, to a parallel extent, Takashi Miike.
I have to say, that Doyle plops out the most cockeyed Asian-film commentary this side of Ric Meyers (don't even get me started on that fat pud's interview with Stephen Chow on the Kung Fu Hustle R1 xtras).
