Iv'e only just heard of Open Window and I am not sure what it's about. I am interested too and I can't find any information about it on Google. does anyone know if it is a remake?

i saw a play called open window at the pasadena play house is it the same story
the play was about a deaf boy who was locked in a basement for twelve years
i wonder if they r the same

Roger Ebert has an article about it on the Chicago Sun-Times website. Apparently it's about Robin Tunney's character trying to go on with her life and engagement after being raped.

Mosomoso,
I saw Open window at Sundance. It was a well done film, about a couple trying to cope after the wife is raped. It was realistic, especially in the facts that couples have a hard time staying together, the parents and family memebers expect people to heal far to quickly and stay in a fair amount of denial as they simply want this unpleasantness to pass.
So, basically the film is about the female (and her husband) struggling to get thru this with everyone else's behaviors as well. A bit slow, but very worth it, I thought.
