Robin Tunney is too charismatic

Robin Tunney is a rare beauty. She has a provocative voice, and eyes that seem to look into eternity, reflecting all the pain and sorrow of existence. Add to this her screen charisma, and it is impossible for other actors to generate sympathy for their characters.

In short, she steals every scene in this movie. The script tried to explore alternate points of view, but this was completely lost. They should have cast someone less captivating for Izzy.

I think you're confusing charismatic with sexy!

reply

Sexy she is, but charismatic as well. Just because someone is sexy doesn't mean I respect their point of view or feel Empathy for them.

The problem with Izzy is that I can't imagine myself picking anyone else's side. Not Peter, not Arlene, none of the other characters are worthy of a bit of my concern when Izzy is around.

Robin was amazing in this. One of her best performances. Now watching her in The Mentalist it's so sad that she has to play such a one dimensional character. She has so much talent.
