A real shame that such stupendous cinema is so unknown and forgotten in Indian cinema.
These are the performances that mater and which live on....
yes and that's the issue with bollywood or mainstream cinema in india. for reasons unknown to me, people there and settled all over the globe like dances, songs, expansive and expensive sets with masala and pot boiler themes , hiking star values to unprecedented scales ....in a way the India shown in Tapan sinhas movie is still the same as today.people think inside a box and talent is just not recognized.
