Real emotions...

The relationship between Gianni, the unsure father (Kim Rossi Stuart) and Paolo, the handicapped son (Andrea Rossi) came across to me as being so real that it seemed as if I were watching a documentary about a father and son instead of a movie. Since I am not familiar with the actors in this film I looked into the credits to see if these two actually were related. How would it be possible for an actor to get so close to a wonderful kid like Andrea and then after the film is made, say good-bye and walk away? I can only believe that they would stay in contact with each other and remain great friends for the rest of their lives.
