Over Dramatic?

I liked this movie but I'm not really sure what Gianni's breaking point had to do with anything. Disabled or not a 15 year old boy is gona annoy any parent hes with a lot of the times. Did Gianni think they'd be best friends and have some perfect relationship not many parents have with their child? Wow he honked the horn, pull over the car and wait till he calms down then go again yet he makes it seem like only his son will do these types of thing. Unless Gianni realized he can't take care of any child not just Paolo.

He had been talking earlier to Paolo about how his room would be at his (Gianni's) house - he was being carried away by the thought that the son could now come and live his life as part of Gianni's family. The behaviour in the car was a shock and made him realise that it would not be as simple as just wanting it to be so, that there was a lot he did not understand about the boy and his condition and that it would be a much bigger undertaking than he had imagined.

A beautiful, nuanced film with astounding performances from all three principal actors.

It wasn't only the honking of the car horn, Gianni also seemed deeply hurt by Paolo saying that he wanted to go home (presumably to Livia and his uncle), eventhough Gianni had just asked him to come and live with him.

Was Paolo was still going to live with Gianni? Gianni wouldn't leave him, right? I didn't really get that part.
