Attempt to make it a Disney product

Don't forget that Disney was greatly embarrassed and forced to admit their team had outright copied a Japanese Anime. This pathetic attempt to franchise the film was most likely a blatant attempt to validate Disney's connection to the Atlantis film for TV, toys, etc ...

You are referring to "Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water" I suppose.

They do have similarities, but that is probably due to both of them being inspired by Jules Verne's novel "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea".

everything copies everything, i wouldn't judge it too hard because of that detail.

i'm halfway way through this one right now. First opinion so far, quality of the "drawings." Obviously it's not looking as cool as the first. 2nd, no MJF, but after like a minute who really gives a sh*t right? Other than that I like the story, inspired by that anime but really jules verne or whatever. I dig it, it's fun.
