Region A Blu-Ray?

Been trying to scour the 'net looking for a release date, but no luck. I know it's available in Region B, but does anyone have any news I missed? It drives me nuts that this wonderful movie is not yet in my BD collection!

French BLURAY has Eng Subs it is excellent. Though I advise playing it with the 24p mode in your BD player switched off. This is ironically due to a number of reasons this film was shot on film so that is real 24fps but what our BD players and TVs call 24p is in fact 23:98fps and works best with more recent digital shot movies that are mostly 23:98fps generated. The movie was posted the same year SONY brought out HD CAM SR and I suspect they used HD CAM SR and thus I presume we are talking a 1080i source master as we are talking 2004 as the origin year. The BD will be mastered as 1080p but I found it looks and feel better playing back with the 3-2 pull-down rather than in the 24p mode. So 1080p yes but 24p NO on BD player default menus settings. SORRY JUST CHECKED the disc in my US player unusual for WARNER it is AREA LOCKED as B. I have both European and North American players.

Ditto.

I'm patiently waiting for a region A/1 Blu-ray release ... or preferably no region lock at all, since most things in Blu-ray are released that way now, but I will be happy with a North America region release.
