question regarding the end

So do you think Dale (the guy who lost his family) actually went through with killing Balthazar Getty? I thought it was great how they cut from the actual act, but I think since he took out the gun and held it he was contemplating the next step. And, how they finished the series off with the feeling that all their lives and actions will continue past the credits, I think supports that theory that he went through with the killing and is contemplating who he will get revenge on next.

Better yet.... USA network will be repeating the entire series later this week (I think on Saturday) so check out your TV listings and you'll be able to watch it again. (I myself plan to tape all three episodes...)

I was also wondering the same thing. It seems though they ended it with too many questions. I missed the first hour; taped it haven't watched it yet. Well did Ben, Balthazar's character, actually know about or have anything to do with the people on the boat? I thought it was kinda sad, of course not knowing how much he had to do with the importing of the illegals on the boat, that he would kill him. Then I wasn't quite sure if we should have assumed that Angie died from a drug overdose? I assumed so, but they don't actually say anything..only had the hospital hugging scene. The only part of the ending of the story I was sure of was that Mike's partner was dirty and that he would be "compiling evidence against him and then be coming after him". That's the only thing that we didn't have to infer or guess at IMO. Maybe after I watch the first hour I'll change my opinion. I'm not saying that all movies should end nice and neat and tie all loose ends up; but, I was just a bit confused as to what I should have assumed and it kinda let me down at the end. Also toward the end I was looking at the clock thinking there's no way they are going tie this up in 10 minutes are they? I guess in my opinion they could have ended it better. I gave this movie a 7 out of 10 rating; if it weren't for the way it ended it might have been higher.

The show re-airs on Sunday at noon if you want to set the vcr!

I liked the ending personally - and I think it is good that different people will think different things about whether Ben was shot or not by the cab driver.

Also, leaving the partner on the run was cool too - showing that not all the bad guys end up in prison.

Overall, I really liked it - especially good for a made for tv series.
