I have this special, transferred directly onto DVD from an original beta tape recording from 1980. Excellent quality - commercial breaks have been cut and ending credits cut off early but otherwise complete and great.
It's a great special.
This was oiginally released on VHS in 1982 along with The Making of Star Wars and the movies both these documentaries accompany.
The copy you have would probably be worth more with the original commercials, but considering you dont have them, and its copied from TV, its not really worth that much. Im not sure about now, but there was a time you could buy all four original making of documentaries on eBay along with the OOT.
I have the original 1982 VHS of SPFX with the original cover... Now to a collector that IS worth quite a bit of cash.
