If you go over to Everything Wrong With I Robot Youtube

You'll see a great example of weird poling. The current over all like/dislike number for the YouTube video is roughly 81% likes/19% dislikes. It's huge..36,000 to 10,000.

The comment section however....is unbelievably slanted to look like everybody hates this new video and disagrees with it. One of the top comments suggests 99% and has 750 up-votes...lol


To me, this is like in the Movie Aladdin where Genie goes around trying to get the crowd on his side. Pretending to be the voice of many in the crowd instead of a single manipulative one.

It works better over here, where a single person, if so motivated, could create 5000 accounts. and potentially up vote or down vote a movie 5000 times!

The best thing I can do is point out this gross disparage in what the public actually thinks, and what a certain small group..wants you to think everybody else thinks.
