Demolition


First, I'm really going to miss the message boards. Aside from the predictable trolling, it was always a great place to ask a question about a movie and get an answer that maybe I hadn't thought of. Such as this one...

Why does nobody question, be it at 8:00am or 8:00pm, that they are destroying a house that is is fully furnished and full of appliances, books, papers and other personal effects?

Hopefully someone can chime in before USR shuts this down. Thanks for all the conversation!

Many things in this movie made no sense from an economic real world view, unless it's some sort of alternate reality where there is no poverty, much smaller world population, and everyone has what they need.
That doctor's house was more like a mansion? No one else would want to live there?

Reminds me of the Bruce Willis movie Surrogates where everyone had a perfect body avatar, even soldiers
