Movie was really great

Hmm what is ur problem guys, the movie was really awesome, I watched it about 10 times.
Rene Heger plays better than most of famous Hollywood actors, I've never seen someone so real on the camera before....

There is violence, guns, drugs, sex but it's just life....
You cannot pretend that it's not happening around us all the time, you can't blaim them for showing that.

They're just like real spoiled teenagers from Hillz, but every one of them is really an interesting personality.
From move like this kids can learn what to do and what not to do.
Your children wouldn't have to imagine what would happen if they turn out like these guys.

once again actors play very very nice (except FBI agent)
look at Rene Heger when he speaks with girl who wants to kill cheerleader.
This dialogue is just awesome....

Did you really watch the same movie I did?
......Oh wait, you're being sarcastic...I Hope.

Hey-- I agree with the 1st poster-- it's not a bad film at all. The characters are all *beep* but it's a dark & violent comedy that isn't unlike a B-Grade Pulp Fiction, Cruel Intentions, or American Psycho. The movie has some great moments-- suspenseful, surprising, hysterical, deranged-- a bucket of entertaining nastiness. I rented this one as a last minute kind of thing just cuz Paris was on the cover-- I thought it would be a dim-witted idiot comedy about a spoiled socialite-- but I love how Paris puts herself out there & plays a bitch character that is more complex. I think a whole lot of the other actors in this did an incredible job-- & I'd love to see Rene in more serious heavyweight stuff. He's a stone fox.

and i agree with the 2nd poster.

You shouldn't use Tesla's name in vain. Paris ... "complex character" ... give me some of what you're smoking.

reply

Dude if your serious, you have got to be on crack. This is the worst movie I've ever seen. The only people who would like this garbage are the same wannebe posers that this movie is about.

reply

I agree with superrhino, after hearing about this movie, i got it on demand for 3.99. I have NEVER felt more cheated in my life. The dialogue was some of the worst, the acting blew co ck, and there was not one thing that this movie actually had that was good. Thats sad. 0 out of four.

reply

I've seen far more worse and lot more lame trash made for 100 times more $$$ than this film. the film delivers its purpose. I didnt like the ending though.

reply

I take it back, this movie just immensly pissed me off for having to pay for it. I think that the biggest problem was the script and acting, definetly. the directing really wasnt THAT bad though, he did have some sort of cool sequences.

reply

Everyone keeps talking about the purpose of this film. What exactly was it? There is no message here, unless the message is shoot everyone and not care or even try to get rid of the bodies. This would work really well if it was a Twilight Zone episode. You know, the one were you do whatever you want and there are no cops anywhere and you kill people in the middle of the day in the middle of a street and get away with all of it. By the way, this is the worst acting job performed by the ENTIRE cast. They should get an award for that.

i was kind of confused watching this movie. mainly because at the end everyone died except for paris hilton. and if they were so rich why did they need to steal all the stuff? and what happened to the motorcycle guy after he got arrested? didn't all his friends notice? and did the rival cheerleader and the girl ever work things out? lol

reply

This was the worst movie of my life.

reply

i liked it.. i think it was what it was trying to do, it had a good ending, i never saw that one coming, some of the acting was good, the only thing wrong perhaps was the DP. Directing was good. relax guys, its a teenage movie about cheesy kids in the burbs.. its alot better than alot of movies out there.

reply

The best thing about this movie was that Paris Hilton was not on screen very much. I will admit I laughed my a** off throughout the movie, at how awful it was, so unbelievable, like it would take the cops a year to find a cop-killer. Of course, that was only a plot device to give Steve 5 the chance to go be a baseball hero (also unbelievable that he could become so great as a freshman). Oh yes, the names. Seb? T? (not even T-Ball or T-Bag or T-Bone, but just T?) The best actor was the guy who played Achmed and he wasn't very good.

reply

Someone made a post on one of these forums and I agree with them. The only people who like movies like this are going to be rich white kids.

If you never saw the ending coming and it was a surprise to you, I guess there is no reason for you to watch ANY of the INFINITELY BETTER films in which this type of ending is used. Have you seen All Quiet on the Western Front? Or perhaps the more recent Menace 2 Society? Anyway, The Hillz is a mess. Poor direction, poor acting, poor dialogue, extremely poor story and hopeless art direction and set decoration. By the way, when was the last time you were up in a tree looking at a a dumb girl with an eating disorder get pimp smacked on a tennis court by a lying sack of crap and then blaming being beaten on the voyeur (who, of course, she knew all the time was watching her). Of course, it may have been a dream sequence -- who could tell with how sloppily this mess was constructed. Nevermind, for godnesss sake -- I guess I must be the crazy one ...

LOL

it's funny to read all these comments. I worked on this film as Second Unit Electrician when they brought a new D.P. in to reshoot some scenes as well as grab some pick-up shots.

We shot Paris and the guy in the jacuzzi. It was a load of fun, but I only got to see the scenes we shot. Paris acted the way you'd expect the daughter of the Hilton empire to act. Like a princess. Had her little dog with her on the set all day.

I actually haven't seen the film yet but it's good to know it got such passionate reactions.

We also shot some scenes where they were getting shot at in a car, some telephone call in a bedroom and a party scene in a kitchen. I'm not sure how the rest of the film looked, but I'm sure those scenes looked good.

CooperDavidC!! You haven't watched it!? And you worked on it!? Man, I am serious...grab a nice fatty doob, sit back and laugh yer ass off! Although there are parts that are pretty corny, but it's well worth it. Man, yer lucky. Mmmm Paris Hilton in that sexy little animal print bikini...

Oh, and all you crazies that are dissin' this movie...well, you have yer own opinion and I respect that (my husband shares yer feelings about this movie, he gets quite hostile when I attempt to put it on in his presence).

Rene Heger is sexy and definitely should be in more movies. I absolutey LOVE his character in the Hillz! Good work, CooperDavidC, you contributed to a #1 hit movie in my book!

10 times? You might want to get some help, I dont even watch movies I like 10 times and this movie was definately not good. I mean after 10 times of watching it you are almost certainly bound to see at least one of the million holes in any aspect of this film be it directing, casting, acting, editing, or story plot. Do you live in the hillz?

Well, I really liked the movie. I didn't think I would. Especially after I saw the 2.5 it got on IMDB.

The acting was not very good but I really got into the story. It was an interesting story. This movie could have been really good had it had some good actors in it.

Paris's acting, if you can call it that, was absolutely the lowlight of the movie, ouch, she sucks badly.

reply

My god I want that Hour and a Half of my life back. Not to mention the $5 spent on renting this film. They spent $100K on this thing? What did they do? Give 99% of it to Paris Hilton an use the rest on the film? This film was so so so so so so so so so bad my friend and I were speechless. Honestly, if you found this film good what other films do you like? Or better yet, what films do you find bad?
If i could give Minus stars to this film I would.

reply

I just saw this in Turkey... I have never heard of it before in the States... probably because the people marketing the movie only want to show it to audiences that don't understand English so nobody can understand how awful it really is. The acting was horrible all around. The storyline was simple and cliche. The dialogue was all cursing... just a pathetic excuse for scriptwriting. This trash that Paris Hilton is in is the real pornography that our society should outlaw.

reply

Ask yourself one thing: would such a terrible piece of crap like this even get picked up if it didn't have Paris Hilton's name on it? doubt it.

reply

The only highlight of the movie comes when Paris Hilton get slapped across the chops in the tennis court scene, but her acting was so horrible that she even screwed THAT up! My eyes! My eyes! Arg! Thank God I didn't pay to see any of this garbage. I flipped to it while channel surfing and flipped to something else after about 10 minutes - I simply refused to believe that any movie could be that horrible. It was like they got a cast of young adults together, gave them a bunch of guns and they (poorly) add libbed the whole thing.
