Do I have the right movie? I am looking for a movie, I saw it on tv a long time ago. I remember there was one central gnome character who was friends with forest creatures and he was looking to get married, and he liked one girl, but she was a wimp or something. And he got captured by humans I thought, but maybe it was trolls. Its' been a very long time, so this is the best I can do for remembering details. I thought it was cool movie when I was a kid. And I think this small description sounds like it, but I don't know for sure. Can anyone help me?

This movie:
A forest gnome is marrying a city gnome, and the families are preparing for the event - even the sibirian gnome Uncle Costja (sp?). But the evil, stupid trolls destroy everything, they kidnap the bride gnome and the groom, couragous and strong as he is, tries to save her. In the end the whole forest helps the gnome families to fight of the trolls to have the woods all to them self. No humans are involved.

Families:
Forest gnomes - 1 grandpa, 1 father, 1 mother, 1 grownup son(groom), 2 kids (a girl and a boy).
City gnomes: 1 mother, 1 father and 1 adult daughter (bride).
Visitor: The sibirian uncle, who rides a big wolf.

Trolls: 1 mother (somewhat smart), 2 adult stupid sons and a baby troll in daipers.

Actually there were three adult stupid sons.

1. The Big Darkbrown one
2. The Big Browngray one
3. The Medium sized Browngray one with some hair on his head

You seem to have some knowledge of "Troll i Tomteskogen" and I just saw it today. A friend of mine hade the DVD in her car, and I "accidentally" saw it and I got nuts! I haven't seen the movie for probably 11 or 12 years (I am 16) because me and my three older siblings watched the movie so many times that it went totally worn-out and became unwatchable. :(

Well, so today I watched it and got all nostalgic and stuff... And I am going to do a copy (shame on me) of the DVD and then I got interested in the movie and searched a ltitle bit on the internet. Do you know where I can find info and pictures to the movie?

I would really appreciate it.

Visst är smaken som baken...delad. Men gillar man inte Gnomes så är man ju helt enkelt knasig :D

Det roliga är att jag googlade fram den sidan och upptäckte att jag faktiskt känner personen. Det är en kompis gamla flamma. Tänk så liten världen är.

I am from Greece and when i was a kid (now I am 20) i remember 2 TV-Series with the Gnomes.The one was with David, Lisa and their fox Shift and the other one was with Klaus and his assistant Danny and they were travelling with their swan all around the world.Does anybody remember the titles of these 2 series????

I have no idea where to find the DVD unless it's on ebay.com

My child loved these programs. I can't find any information on the web about Wisdom of the Gnomes. David the Gnome is listed on IMBD.
