Can anybody help me.
I have been trying to buy this animation on video (do not even think it would be on DVD) for about 7 yrs!!! I can't find it anywhere.. Has it been deleted or does someone know where I can get my hands on one...

I personally have seen it multiple times, and the swedish translations are incredibly good. Alot of swedish animated film during the 70´s and 80´s had good voice overs.
Like Dunderklumpen, flåknypa and the creepy Skrotnisse.
Sadly that is a lost art nowadays. But it would be really intresting to see if its even better in english.

The Gnome
I used to have a copy of it on VHS in English when I was just a little kid, but it got lost and/or destroyed when we moved overseas. I still have the whole movie memorized, though! I watched that tape to death. Fortunately, it is very easy to find on DVD in Swedish under the title of "Trolltyg i tomteskogen," (Trolls in the Gnome Forest) so now I own it in Swedish.
As to the legality of the Swedish "Trolltyg i tomteskogen" DVDs, I suspect that they're boot-legs, because I don't think the company ever officially released this film on DVD. But oh well. Google "Trolltyg i tomteskogen" and "DVD" and I'm sure you'll find something :)

shareI really wish they would straighten out all the rights issues with this movie. I only saw it the one time when I was a kid over 25 years ago. My school library had the book, and I checked it out every year from 1st grad to 6th. I eventually bought the book about 4 or 5 years ago.
