so what was with the scars?

The Dad was suspicious of Matthew knowing about the scars on the back of the late John's neck, when all the while Matthew himself had scars on the back of HIS neck. Wonder what the connotation here was.

That's exactly it. He is the spirit of their late son John, and that is why he shares the same scars.

Basically, he's supposed to be Jesus reincarnated for the season, which is how the gal's cancer got cured. Still it was something to watch while digesting my lunch. And the gal was well hot!

I couldn't quite get what the scar on the visitor was about. But it did get me wondering. Just a nice piece of mystery for us to mull over I guess.
