if anyone knows if or when this film is going to be released in canada on dvd please post it.
i saw this film at the toronto film festival and i was great. i would love to own a copy so i could expose more people to fantastic scandanavian film making.
Guess you`ll have to wait a long time as it isn`t gonna be on dvd even in Finland until April 7th.

I think you have to order it from Finland or Sweden. I'm pretty sure that there will be english subtitles too.
shareEasier said than done: Unless you have some decoding device, or a code-free DVD player, you can't watch European DVDs (area code 2) in the U.S. (area code 1). But the movie itself is definitely worth seeing! I saw it when I visited Finland, and I don't think there was a single dry eye among the audience - Kleenex time big time!

I run an international Video Store, and I import Region Free DVD players
from the US to Canada, for my customers.
No special TV is required, since the DVD player picks up automatically what TV system is being used.
This film was picked up in north america by film movement (www.filmmovement.com) and will be shipped to subscribers in april. It should be available for purchase by non subscribers in june/july timeframe.
