This was OK, but why didn't she take all their money at the end?
They definitely set up the entire scam (ruined her car and stole her money initially). It would've been perfectly justified if Alice would've stole all of their illegal money and got the hell out of there.
That would've been a satisfying end to a dreary but interesting minor film.
My main gripe about this film is that I couldn't root for any of the characters. They were all intellectually dull and non-redeeming. Not evil, but simpletons. What's the ultimate message of this film? Possible it's "there aren't a lot of options if you're not that smart". Sad but true in a meritocracy but not that entertaining in a film.
