Cute movie.

Ben Stiller is uniquely gifted to play the sort of character he does in this movie: quirky, insecure, neurotic, weird, full of idiosyncracies, stuffy. He's a funny guy without trying. He can deadpan a line, and it comes out funny.

Bryan Brown - he's not in enough movies, as far as I'm concerned. Good actor, interesting, different, incredibly ruggedly handsome. I guess he's too busy down in Australia to pursue a serious American movie career.

Hank Azaria - OMG. Too funny in this movie! How is it possible he's gotten more buff over the years, since his appearance in The Birdcage?

Debra Messing - She really is very funny. There aren't too many beautiful actresses who are good actors AND are funny. It's a rare combination.

Aniston - She always seems stuck in her acting skills. Stuck in tv sitcom type acting. It's not the roles. She's really not good enough to do more than this type of role. She doesn't add to characterization. There's nothing inher eyes other than stating her lines. Still, she states her lines convincingly. I don't see any reason why she would have fallen for Stiller in this movie, though. His character is neurotic and not fun to be with.

A cute movie. It's a light romantic comedy, nothing more. But it's a good one. Very entertaining and funny.
