Lesbian reference

Was the cop supposed to be a lesbian? Seems liek the reporter lady was trying to hit on her to get her to release the sketch - "How about you and I go out for some cocktails?" "Do you EAT?" Sounds like lesbian innuendo. And btw this movie was horrible, I almost turned it off after the first 5 minutes, regrettably I sat through all 1 hour and 35 minutes of it. So many other, better movies I could have watched in taht 1 hour and 35 minutes of my life. <sigh>

You are right: The filmmaker raises the issue that the officer may be a lesbian, but like so many other threads in this film, he doesn't pursue it.

You are also right that this movie is horrible, but at least you (and I, regrettably) watched the whole thing to make the judgment fairly.

Why wouldn't the police release the sketch to the media anyway? And what kind of newspaper would indict an anonymous source in its Page One headline? This film is junk in so many ways, but I'm going to move on with my life now instead of dwelling on them.
