Levottomat 3 has been elected 36th worst movie ever by imdb users. Congratulations Finland!
Most of the people in the world have never heard of finnish movies, but now Finland can be proud to have this movie to become famous.
When you think that most of the imdb users are not Finns and do not care at all about Finland, having this vote, this movie, in the bottom 100, is something heroic.

Certain finnish individuals have been asking people to vote 1 for Levottomat 3, so it could be in the bottom 100. So most voters have never even seen this movie, neither have I but haven't voted either.
shareI doubt that this problem concerns only Levottomat 3, for there are other movies too that have been deliberately voted towards the jumbo place. I have not seen nor voted L3 but if it is considerably worse than Levottomat 1, I think it deserves the status.

Levottomat (1) was a cool picture. Just the right contemporary music, just the right casting, pretty good (at least) character acting, good directing, interesting camera rolls (for a Finnish film in 1999!), very contemporary story (who can't say they wouldn't know at least one of those guys) and interesting and controversial choice of filming location (in Turku, the "The rectum of Finland" due to the bad reputation of the natives).
And I really like the idea it had about making a trilogy from young directors. Aku Louhimies (the director) anyway make a good career out of this first film of his and I think it was fair and square.

You right that most of the users in Imdb are not finnish people, but did you know that the rating in the Bottom 100 and the Top 250 lists are automatically made from the "stars" that the movie has gotten and how many users have rated it? So, im pretty sure that almost every rating is from finnish person. That means that we ourselves here in Finland have rated this movie so bad that it has get to the bottom list. So, did you got the point and know what's wrong in your message, or do i have to spel it out for you?
shareI think the point of bottom 100 is to gather the worst "good" movies. A movie has to have a certain amount of publicity to get enough votes, but it still has to be an atrocity. Now, anyone can make some boring shi t, but not anyone can get people to see it. Think about Razzies, they go to bad and FAMOUS movies. It's fun to laugh at George W. Bush but it's just mean to laugh at some random retarded. You catch my drift? Here's a hint: George is Gigli, some random retarded is Levottomat 3.

Some people have given more votes for this film and it's not anymore 36th. I found this formula for calculating the rating for a film. It is obvious that not all joke-voters are taken into serious consideration.
The formula for calculating the Top Rated 250 Titles gives a true Bayesian estimate:
weighted rank (WR) = (v ÷ (v+m)) × R + (m ÷ (v+m)) × C
where:
R = average for the movie (mean) = (Rating)
v = number of votes for the movie = (votes)
m = minimum votes required to be listed in the Top 250 (currently 1300)
C = the mean vote across the whole report (currently 6.8)
for the Top 250, only votes from regular voters are considered.

Mäkinen never even tried to be good. This is far worse than Visa's works because this is meant to be a 'quality' film.

I gave this an honest 1. Definitely one of the biggest piles horsepoo I´ve ever seen. The real "Levottomat" is a good movie, but this is just wrong. It´s full of bad acting, horrendous storyline and akward clichés. Definitely worst finnish movie along with "Pahat Pojat" ever.
