Do you mean at the end? He survives! When Morgan is crying on his fathers work Christer comes and hugs him and tell him that it's okay. He don't commit suicide.
At least I took the scene at that way.
Hadn't he already used the needle when his father saw him?
1. He says "Vad har du gjort" ("What have you done"), making it sound like he found Morgan too late.
2. In the end where the mother sends a letter to a child she is sponsoring she writes: "The three of us are fine", but you only see her, the husband and a man from the therapy group. Doesn't that point out that Morgan is no longer alive?
Well, since Morgan actually responds to the hug, he isn't badly hurt yet, but if he used the needle it doesn't make sense anyway.

He didn't die. You can see him getting off the bike and entering the house in the end of the movie as said above.

The last scene with the abused girl in this movie (laying in the bed smiling), reminds me alot about the end of Magnolia...

Nothing happened to him, he just went back to that place to finally deal with his guilt. He had'nt had a good cry before that, but at the party with the guy being an *beep* he broke down and had to go there. And for the first time his dad realized that he was truly sorry and was hurting, even though he hadn't showed it prior to that day.
