new film?
does anybody know when the new wilkerson film will be released? (about the 25 hour song performed in Duluth, Minnesota)

Probably never. It's called "Elegy", which was a 25 hour drone festival done as an homage for a native Duluthian and poet who was murdered in Boston (in 2002). The brianchild of the poet's friends, musicians and artists came from as far away as New York, Chicago and even Australia (!) to play. No one knew it was going to be as huge as it turned out to be. And yep - I was one of the performers and it was amazing. I'll never forget it.
Elegy is a beautiful little documentary finished back in 2003. The only words spoken take place within the first minute or so - the rest is music. Was never distributed, except among friends. VHS only. Travis Wilkerson is now a professor of film in Colorado. Hasn't made a film since 2005 (Who Killed Cock Robin?) and although he once toyed with the idea - - as of this date, he has no intention of releasing Elegy.
