elisha and blake

Do any can even believe that those 2 would have any sort of connection?
mentally that BLAKE dude was piece of *beep* from all angles torturing kids and extorting money. If Blake is supposed to be the person who upholds the Christian values and a preppie ,then thank god I am not a Christian preppie.
when on the other hand I would find lots of sympathy for Ian dude.
If ELsiha fell in love with Ian then I would have understood ,she trying to help him out from the jocks and stuff like that.hell i thought she was some sort of person who would have helped the downtrodden and also the jocks were getting killed.Who would have the most antipathy towards them ,the obvious suspects, the goths.
But instead she falls in love with the Blake guy like some dumb bimbo, even in the looks department Ian is much hotter than Blake will ever be.

No wonder I have never heard of Perritti and his dumb books before this movie and believe me when I tell you that I read books its not an empty boast.
any Christian would benefit more from reading Salem's lot than reading perritti books because the Perritti claims to be Chistian and does not support or write about sex

You don't absolutely HAVE to write about sex to be a Christian author. The whole point of Frank Peretti's book was not about sex. No one had sex in the movie or the book, so why is this topic even relevant?

In fact, the film would have been mildly improved (to the point of almost being tolerable) with a few sex scenes and a generous helping of nudity. Or am I the only one who wanted to see Elisa and Crystal get naked?

Elisha Springfield was a Christain. She probably wouldn't have gone and had sex with Blake. Don't get me wrong, there are some Christians who do have sex outside of marriage, but the Springfield family are very tight Christians and if you read the book you would know that Elisha is a very strong Christian as well. It just doesn't seem likely that she would go off and sleep with Blake.

Hell, I wouldn't have argued with a nude scene of Ian...

In the book, Elisha wasn't interested in Blake. For that matter, he was hardly even mentioned throughout the book. Elisha spent more of her time with Norman, though there was never an indicated romance between them. However, Elisha was described as being very pretty, and she was sort of a heartthrob in both Hangman's Curse and Nightmare Academy. I think that it was easier for the filmmakers to portray that by giving her a budding romance with Blake instead of having all the guys' heads turning when she walked by. Plus, it wouldn't be as believable to the audience that every guy in the school thought she was drop-dead gorgeous if there was a specific girl playing her, not like in the book where it's largely up to the reader to determine just what she looks like. So it's not really Frank Peretti you should be put out with, since he didn't write it that way; it's whoever wrote the script.
