Jamie Bell just gets better in every film he does

Ever since "Billy Elliot" I had been following his roles. I must say that doing these small non-commercial movies does him a world of good.
He does a great role in "Dear Wendy", he is a powerful and moving actor, with a great great future ahead.
Just don't let Holywood feck him up, like it did with so meny other UK and AU actors.

Yeah, he's bound to be the new "it" boy.

I'm partial to the guy who plays Stevie myself.:)

This is a great film but no doubt at all Jamies best perfomance is in Chumscrubber i cant believe they gave Lou taylor Pucci the sundance acting award ahead of him that year IDIOTS.

To: HeAtPlAyA11 // If you still haven't heard from anyone I just finished watching the DVD. Don't know what it's rated but absolutely no sex. And I think only one curse word! One woman bares her breasts but not shown long. That's it for the sex. Oh, and some talk about some warriors who tied leather around their privates to induce pain so they could be better warriors and not fear getting killed. With a slide show, but I couldn't make out the pix on slides as they were either too washed out or taken from a real ancient type book.

There is shooting and killing, which goes without saying, but no glorified slo-mo blood sprays.

Haven't heard the commentary over the film but watched the bonus interviews /making of stuff and the writer and director are not addressing "Columbine" type issues but are a tiny bit afraid younger people might think playing with guns is a good idea. But then again, one probably sees more guns and kids with guns on TV.

Hope that helps. Hope you come back to read it! <lol>

I agree 100% about bell. He's awesome in everything he's in, and he's hot on top of that. I've seen all of his movies, and think that chumscrubber was one of his best. However, he doesnt have a worst.
