Reference to Peter Pan?

would I be right in assuming that naming his gun Wendy was a reference to the role that Wendy played in Peter Pan's growing up from being a boy forever?

dude you've thought about it way too much!
i doubt it. probably lars and thom vinterberg thinking up of the most subtle ridiculous name for a gun. although personally i would have gone for 'bianca'

I think you're probably right, cairnlae!
Lars von Trier is from denmark like me, so i know a little about him and his work, and he is pretty wierd (in a good and creative way) so it would totally be right up his ally to call the gun wendy.
he would probably never admit it, in fear of getting sued..

I guess you're right: Wendy and the Lost Boys in Neverland.
Death also plays an important part in some of J.M. Barrie (Peter Pan, Mary Rose)'s works.

I don't think so... but I have a feeling Lyndon was named after Barry Lyndon. considering it's the same style of gun as used in the film.
