You raise a good point. America is a country founded on freedom...freedom to speak, think, believe, live, and express yourself as you wish. And generally, America IS a freer country than most. But you're right, that big government nanny state types, thinking this movie will corrupt our minds, exist here, too. I heard someone say once that the real distinction shouldn't be between liberalism and conservatism, but rather, repressive big-government, and liberating small-government. Both mentalities can, and do, exist in both parties. Personally, I take the latter. Powerful governments are responsible for wars, genocides, invasions, repression, slavery, indoctrination, etc. And the same is true today, as in the past. Although America was founded in opposition to such tendencies (the entire point of the Revolution was to get away from the powerful, theocratic English monarchy of the time), old cancers die reluctantly.

I'm not disagreeing with your sentiment, but Looking for Fidel is on IMDB. It was aired under the series America Undercover.
