4/10 because they tried hard
This film is what you'd get if you were in a Croatian high school film class, but had a lot of money and Gerard Depardieu.
They tried awfully hard, they used a lot of hackneyed production techniques, and the script was 175% predictable. Not a single remarkable thing. That said, many of the unknown actors did a fine job with the garbage they were given to work with by the director and the screenwriter. I'm thinking especially of Freddie Sayers as King Louis, Marcus J. Pirae as Villepain, and Nico Nikotera as 80N. Susie Amy was very easy on the eyes and had some presence. Pirae had PLENTY of presence -- I hope Hollywood will discover him soon.
But overall it was painful to watch, and worth a 3/10 because of poor script and sleepwalking performances of any cast members over 30. But I give it a 4/10 because the rest of them seemed to work hard at it.
