Craptastic! Not believable + talk about a massive ego!

This guy - the writer, director, producer and "star" must have an ego and arrogance that makes Donald Trump look positively humble!

I thought this was a terrible film, for many reasons. First of all, it the characters were badly underdeveloped. The beginning, when he was supposed to be so out of control was rushed through. He was supposed to be completely out of control on drugs, but we didn't see that - a couple of scenes of him drunk, that's it. And he didn't look like someone who had been abusing drugs or alcohol - he especially did not look like a high school student! Then, there's his mother who was supposed to have her own serious drug addiction. We saw some pill bottles on her bedside table, I think in one scene. Other than often being in her pajamas and robe, and lacking makeup, she didn't come across as someone with a drug problem, either.

To further demonstrate this guy's incredible ego, he has one of the characters say "He's pretty big" - not only that, but to be sure we all got it, he has to repeat it later, himself. He looked pretty thin, to me, bordering on scrawny - certainly not someone I'd ever describe as "pretty big".

If this is really a factual story, he did a very poor job of making it believable. And what in the world makes him think he has any talent for acting or writing? IMHO, he has none.

I don't understand all the awards for this or the raving on this board & by IMDB reviewers about how great this film was. I watched it on Netflix streaming, if I had paid for a theater ticket I would have demanded my money back about 20 minutes into it.
